In 2025, the Tundra loses the TRD Sport package, which added rear-wheel drive functionality to the TRD Off-Road trim level. Otherwise, the performance capabilities are unchanged between the 2024 and 2025 Tundra. The standard engine for most trim levels is a 389-horsepower, V6, turbo 3.5-liter system. It features a 10-speed auto transmission and the option of either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive. The Hybrid Max engine is available for the higher trim levels, and it produces 437 horsepower. Some trim levels and optional packages add a load-leveling rear air suspension, Multi-Terrain Select drive modes, adaptive suspension dampers, an off-road suspension, a locking rear differential, crawl control, and more.

Appearance

Solar Octane paint that was available for the 2024 Tundra is no longer available in 2025. However, a TRD Rally appearance package is added. This package gives you 18-inch TRD off-road wheels, Bilstein shocks, skid plates and all-terrain tires. It also adds red, yellow, and orange graphics on the interior and exterior. The package is available exclusively with four paint colors, and these are Midnight Black Metallic, Magnetic Gray, Ice Cap and Celestial Silver.

Features

There are a few improvements to the 2025 Tundra's feature availability as well. The SR5 is now available with power-adjusting front seats. The SR5 is also now offered with an optional power tailgate, and this feature becomes standard on all other 2025 Tundra trim levels. For the Platinum and Capstone trim levels massaging front seats become standard. The 2025 Tundra 1794 also now has an embossed tailgate. Other features available for the Tundra carry forward from the 2024 model year. Some of these are premium leather upholstery, heated seats, wireless smartphone connections, a head-up display, wood trim, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a household-style power outlet, a wireless charger, a surround-view camera, a panoramic sunroof, and numerous additional features.
