What's New for the 2025 Toyota Tundra?
Thanks to its overall quality and capabilities, the Toyota Tundra is a strong competitor in the full-size truck class. Its third generation launched in 2022, and additional improvements have been made since then. In 2025, the Toyota Tundra will update paint color options, add a new appearance package, and be available with a few additional features.
The Tundra is available with numerous trim levels, three bed lengths, and two cabin layouts, so there is a Tundra to suit most needs. In 2025, the exterior style is unchanged, but the paint options have been pared down. Solar Octane paint is no longer available. Mudbath is a new paint color option exclusively offered on the TRD Pro-grade trims.
In addition, the TRD Rally appearance package is new for the 2025 model year. This package includes yellow, orange, and red graphics, all-terrain tires, and special wheel caps. Four paint colors are offered for this package, including Celestial Silver, Ice Cap, Midnight Black Metallic, and Magnetic Gray. This package also includes crawl control, multi-terrain select, and electronically controlled rear differential locking. The TRD Rally package adds the three specialized exterior colors to the dashboard and SoftTex upholstery inside.
The 2025 Tundra offers two engines. The entry-level system is an i-Force twin-turbo V6 that produces 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. There is also an i-Force Max hybrid V6 that produces 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque. With the Off-Road package, the Tundra adds downhill assist control, multi-terrain select, and crawl control. The upgraded multi-link rear suspension supports a 12,000-pound towing capacity and a 1,940-pound payload.
Inside the Capstone, 1794 cabin, and Platinum trims, the Tundra's 10-way power-adjusting seats are now available with massaging functions. All of the 2025 trim levels have parking assistance with auto braking, a blind-spot monitor, radar cruise control, a human-machine interface for the infotainment system, an 8-inch or 14-inch touch display screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Drive Connect, an intelligent virtual assistant, cloud-based navigation an integrated hotspot, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and others.

1. Payload includes the weight of occupants, cargo and options and is limited by weight distribution.
2. Never tow beyond a vehicle's published towing capacities. Before towing, confirm your vehicle and trailer are compatible, hooked up and loaded properly and that you have any necessary additional equipment. The maximum you can tow depends on base curb weight plus the total weight of any cargo, occupants, and added vehicle equipment. Follow all instructions in your Owner's Manual.
