What's New for the 2025 Toyota RAV4?

The versatile, sporty Toyota RAV4 is a smart pick for auto shoppers in search of a compact crossover SUV. In 2025, this two-row model will be almost identical to its 2024 counterpart. However, the TRD Off-Road and Adventure trim levels have been discontinued. The current trim levels available are the LE, XLE, XLE Premium, and Limited.

The same powertrain offered in the 2024 RAV4 continues to be in the 2025 version. A 2.5-liter, four-cylinder, 203-horsepower engine is mated with an auto eight-speed transmission. A front-wheel drivetrain is standard for all trim levels, and all-wheel drive is an option. If you selected the 2025 RAV4 XLE Premium, your crossover will also have a raised suspension.

The engaging style of the RAV4 is also unchanged. The angled, crisp accents crossing the door panels combine with square fenders for an aggressive, modern look. The sides are also designed with thick, dark molding that rounds over the fenders and grows stronger over the lower door panels. The profile shows off a strong descent at the rear. The front end shows its character through an A-style grille with a linear yet alternating mesh pattern. The bumper has a similar shape and is flanked by deep air vents holding small fog lamps. The sharp-cornered headlights are styled with embedded LED bars to complete the look.

All of the features available in the 2024 RAV4 are also available in 2025, based on the trim. The standard features in the LE are a six-speaker sound system, an 8-inch touch display screen, satellite radio, forward collision mitigation, lane keeping, a traffic sign reader, and a wireless internet hotspot. The more advanced trim levels are available with additional features, such as a panoramic sunroof, a digital rear mirror, a 10.5-inch central display screen, a blind-spot system, heated front seats, a digital instrument panel, a heated steering wheel, a JBL premium sound system with 11 speakers, driver's side memory settings, synthetic leather upholstery, a power liftgate, keyless ignition, two household power outlets, and more.
