The Toyota Land Cruiser is highly regarded for its rugged capabilities and superior features. Its strong appeal is magnified in 2024 with the launch of its seventh generation. The latest generation introduces a new hybrid powertrain with fresh styling and numerous upgraded features.

Under the hood, the V8 engine that was offered with the 2023 Land Cruiser is no longer available in 2024. Now, the powertrain is a hybrid four-cylinder, turbo 2.4-liter unit. This 326-horsepower system delivers robust power with immediate torque. For all 2024 trim levels, the Land Cruiser comes with standard all-wheel drive and an eight-speed auto transmission. Additional mechanical features are a locking rear differential, crawl control, and front stabilizer disconnect.

The latest generation of the Toyota Land Cruiser is slightly smaller than the 2023 version. It commands the road with its boxy, contemporary design. The hood and sides are flat for a modern look, and the fenders are powerfully flared. Both the grille and front fascia have a rectangular, molded look. In comparison, the headlights are mounted in rectangular ports and styled with a circular LED bar. The base trim level for 2024 comes with 18-inch alloy wheels and skid plates. Higher trims add rock rails and a roof rack.

While the 2024 Toyota Land Cruiser is engineered to navigate confidently over rigorous terrain, it is packed with creature comforts. The entry-level trim comes with an 8-inch infotainment system screen, wireless connections for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a push-button ignition, a household power outlet, heated seats, a heated steering wheel, a three-zone climate control system, forward collision mitigation, lane keeping, parking sensors, a blind-spot warning, and adaptive cruise control. The Land Cruiser's higher trim levels build on these features with optional or available features like a sunroof, synthetic or authentic leather seats, a digital instrument panel, a 12.3-inch infotainment system, an upgraded audio system, a chilled center console, a digital key, a digital rear mirror, a wireless phone charger, Drive Connect, a wireless phone charger, a head-up display, and several additional features.
